While on a trip to Africa to adopt two children, this homeowner’s neighbor called us late on a Sunday evening because water was pouring out of the garage door.
When we entered the building, the furnace was still running, and water was condensating on the ceilings, and raining on our heads. We quickly turned the water source off to the building, and identified the source of the leak.
We spoke with the homeowners, and e-signed paperwork to get started.
The family decided to stay in Africa for several additional weeks while we worked to get the house stripped completely, dried, and rebuilt everything but the kitchen and living room (although the carrier agreed to replace those floors to match everything else new through the building).
